Renamed Vertical Multi-Process Grinding Machine “Vertical Mate series” to “TKV series”

TAIYO KOKI Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce to change the model name of “Vertical Mate series”, which has been well received by customers for many years, to “TKV series” with the goal of strengthening the product brand and increasing brand recognition in the global market.

Since its launch in 2010, “Vertical Mate series” has been valued by many customers in a variety of industries, including aircraft, automotive, industrial machinery, machine tools and semiconductors for its ability which performs high-accuracy processes (roundness: 1.0 µm^*1) of ID, OD and face with one-time chucking. *1 Evaluation of TAIYO KOKI standard test piece

The new model name ‘TKV series’ is composed of the following elements. The new naming structure leads to intuitive understanding of our grinding machine specifications.

・V   Vertical

・60  Classification of target workpiece size

*This name change does not affect any specifications or performance of the existing products, and there are no changes to the support system or warranty content for existing “Vertical Mate series”.

■ Effective date: From April, 2026

*New quotation on / after April 1^st, 2026 will be submitted as “TKV series”.

 Quotations submitted by Mar 31^st, 2026 keep the existing model name until the machine acceptance.
